The Manhattan Quilters Guild presents a collection of nineteen quilts created specifically for YARDWORKS, and constructed within the constraint of one square yard, both literally and metaphorically. Guild members drew upon memory, fantasy, architecture, language, and landscape to produce this touring exhibition of art quilts. Techniques and processes include piecing, applique, printing, painting, photography, and various methods of hand and machine stitching.
