While previous quilts in my kaleidoscope series explored the circular and symmetrical effects of two and three mirror kaleidoscopes, this quilt is based on a four mirror rectangular rather than triangular system. The repeated images created are striped patterns, since the reflections move directionally up-down and right-left. It's about time I tried something new.
