| Twenty years ago I got a degree in Fine
Arts/Textile Design but have been temporarily off course since raising and supporting my
children came first. Now that they have reached what they consider to be adulthood I can
now spend more time starting the search for myself and doing what I love to do. Not that I
don't love my children but fabric doesn't talk back or stay out all night! The self portrait has been a good point to start the search. The color and shapes are varied as are the techniques used. I keep dabbling and haven't found a niche yet but am learning alot along the way. My love for quilting and fabric will only grow and appreciate in the years to come. |
