| I drafted this self-portrait on my
Macintosh. The printing was accomplished on my Imagewriter II directly onto the fabric,
which is 100% cotton. I feel that in order to do a self-portrait, I must know who I am.
After much thought, I decided that I could not answer that question. I made the face on my
Pfaff using machine lace techniques. I had many more labels, but there wasn't room, maybe
I should have put them on the back. Finally I selected what I felt were the most
relevant labels. So, in closing, I am saying that I am made up of labels, which is what I
