I hate to clean my house. Thanks to my husband, it is kept relatively neat most of the time, with the exception of the creative confusion in my studio. The way I spend Wednesdays (and most every other day) is to work on my art quilts. This quilts shows my specialty -- fabric images created on my computer. This one is a picture of me on a Wednesday doing my favorite activity. The scraps from the quilts I'm working on in the picture, including the threads scraps, are used in the rest of the quilt. I enjoy creating textures in my quilts and using my hand dyed fabrics. Techniques used: computer transfer fabric, hand dyed (by the artist) and commercial 100% cotton fabric, machine pieced and machine quilted.
