| "I took a class from Linda Poole about three years ago on making miniature quilts. She encouraged us to keep all our bits of fabric...When I saw this challenge I knew I had to try and complete this piece. The bright colors remind me of a traffic jam at night." Strip piecing with solid colors and black fabric patterned with stars, embellished with beads, quilted with Sulky opalescent thread. A vivid and energetic surface nicely set off by the borders. |
