| Year completed | 2006 |
| Dimensions | 36"x36" |
| Materials | Commercial and hand-printed cottons, cotton and rayon threads |

| Artist Statement | Manhattan's
Metro leads underground to the texts and textures of the subway system,
from the sleek
line of the rails to the wild inspiration of the graffiti, the
demarcating mosaics and the detritus dropped along the
way. Along the edge of the antique token, even the words Transit
Authority have morphed into a graffiti imprint, as has the cutout Y
in the
center.
