The common themeto every language uttered in New York from Spanish to Arabic, Hebrew and Chinese, is pace: quick, staccato, "I have things to do, get outta my way"----pace. Our diversity in babel becomes a common thread that binds us all to this city in our dreams, in our fears, and in our lives. |
