Woman's work is never done -- or is it? In our home, my husband "shares" the housework. That means that he takes out the garbage and does the ironing. He hates to iron, and I tried to capture his expression in my quilt. He slaves over a hot iron which I enjoy something cool to drink. A former UFO found new life as the background for this piece. Its traditional patchwork pattern and Amish color scheme stand in perfect contrast to a scene which captures a slice of life in the liberated 90's.
