Artist's Statment

I have an insatiable curiosity for ancient places and objects,devouring information about and images of ancient civilizations. The result is art that is archeological in nature, mysterious in design and reverent in interpretation.

I’ve been sewing since I was 12 but started quilting about 8 years ago after experimenting in various media over many years, quickly moved from traditional to art quilts, when I discovered that I loved the texture that is inherent in textile art.
