Artist Statement:
My quilt represents MOTHER NATURE and how she is in charge of the world. You don't want to mess with her because she is very powerful! I call her EARTH MOTHER because she has the power to nourish life and we reap the fruits of her labor. To me she symbolizes a parent who can give and give but treats us like a child; sometimes punishing us. She has fire coming out of one breast and a waterfall out of the other. DON'T MESS WITH HER!
