I used my painted fabric, expandable paint (giving dimension to the tree) and printed dollars backed by paper (the leaves on the tree) My symbol is Dollars. The title of my piece is: The Money Tree Artist's statement: When I asked for money as a kid my mother always replied "money doesn't grow on trees". That statement is the basis of my ork. The hands are waiting for the dollars to fall; they'll catch the money and go on a spree! Maybe fall will never come! |
