Terry Pottmeyer Hands to Work |
This quilt explores the Shaker saying, Hands to Work, Hearts to God. I find this symbol pops up in my life over and over again--on earrings, mugs, key chains...The hands are women's hands and represent women working--a heart surgeon, a seamstress, a gardener, and a caregiver. I plan to embellish and further quilt it, as time allows. |
