This quilt is based on one of my interpretations of the tarot card Justice.

Justice is about what is right for each person in each situation. The choices that we make as individuals affect what happens to everyone. When we do the right thing, then the right things happen. When we close our eyes and pretend that our governments aren't acting in the best interest for us or the world, this ostrich approach doesn't help and certainly will never change things.Of course the quilt imagery relates to all of the current events. The choice is presented rather starkly, peace/growth vs. war/oil/money. The back is filled ith my frantic writings and questioning of the whole war crisis. Not a happy quilt. I'm glad to be done with it.
