Statement
This piece is a representation of five journal quilts and a suggestion of the way the exhibit hung at Houston. The quilting says the following: I have learned many things, met many wonderful artists, and participated in several thought-provoking challenges, but the Quiltart list's most important influence on me, the thing that changed my work, pushed me the most, and helped me grow was the Journal Quilt series.
