Techniques used include machine quilted hand-dyed f rame/border which contains the thread and yarn work on tulle, overlaid with quilted 3-D “ grass ”.
Statement
It is third in a series of see-through garden scenarios . I used 15 rose colored flowers in my garden to signify 15 (at least) new techniques gleaned from QuiltArt members over the last few years. The “ grass ” pieces were added to give a feeling of flowing movement, blown by the energy of new ideas and inspiration.
